Magellan secures multiple Boeing contracts

TORONTO — Magellan Aerospace has picked up some extended and new business from Chicago-based aerospace giant Boeing Co.

The Mississauga, Ont.-based manufacturer of aircraft assemblies and systems picked up multi-year contract renewals to provide titanium wing fittings for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the tanker door for the Boeing 767-2C aircraft.

A new multi-year contract was also awarded to manufacture winglet components for the Boeing 737 MAX.

The manufacturing will be done in Magellan’s New York and Middletown, Ohio plants.
