MONTREAL: ProSep Inc. says its majority owned South-Korean joint venture company ProSep Kolon Co. Ltd. has won a $3.3 million contract for the supply of a utility gas treatment system.
The customer, an unnamed South Korean engineering firm, was selected to perform the engineering, procurement and construction of a gas processing facility in Saudi Arabia.
ProSep, a Montreal-based manufacturer of upstream technologies for the oil and gas industry, said the project involves a nitrogen generation system and a cryogenic liquid nitrogen storage and vaporization system.
Nitrogen generation systems help to produce dry nitrogen from compressed feed air through the application of hollow fibre membrane technology.
This the first contract awarded to the newly formed company with The Kolon Group, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals and textiles.
Delivery is to occur in January 2013.
