SINGAPORE — Bombardier Aerospace has received a “firm” US228 million order for three CS300 aircraft from an unidentified existing customer.
The Montreal-based aerospace company said the order pushes its tally for the new aircraft for the100- to 149-seat market past the 200 mark.
Bombardier said there are more than 10 aircraft, which are to be lighter than similar planes and more fuel efficient, in various stages of testing and production.
So far Bombardier has booked orders and commitments for 445 CSeries aircraft, which include firm orders for 201 CSeries airliners.
