Bombardier opens new office in Shanghai

Will support COMAC and regional customers

SHANGHAI: Bombardier Aerospace has opened a new office in Shanghai that will be home to the aerospace company’s commercial aircraft teams working with Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. (COMAC), the company’s supply chain organization in China.

The Shanghai regional support office team, supporting Q-Series and CRJ aircraft operators, will also be based at the new office and will include support personnel for Bombardier’s Learjet, Challenger and Global business jet operators.

Bombardier predicts demand for almost 2,400 commercial aircraft in the 60- to 149-seat segment in China over the next 20 years, making China the world’s second largest market for new aircraft deliveries, behind the US.

Bombardier also has a team based in Beijing team, and one in Shenyang, plus parts depots in Beijing and Hong Kong.
