LANSDALE, Pa.: Neptune Chemical Pump Co.’s Series 500 metering pumps have a stroke adjustment feature that improves valve performance over traditional variable-linkage designs.

Neptune, a Lansdale, Pa. pump manufacturer, says this feature gives valve checks extra time to seat, even in heavy liquids since they are idle during the by-pass portion of the suction and discharge strokes.

The pumps adjust from 10% to 100% of capacity via micrometer dial and EZE-CLEAN valve cartridges that are removable for cleaning without disturbing the piping. And they handle 80 gph (302 lph) simplex and 160 gph (605 lph) duplex at pressures up to 3,000 psi (210 kg/cm).
