SJ-210 provides quick, accurate roughness testing

TORONTO: Manual surface roughness tests are quick and accurate using the new Surftest SJ-210 portable tester from Mitutoyo Canada Inc. 

A 2.4-in. colour LCD display includes backlighting, over-size fonts and it re-orients screen content vertically or horizontally, left and right-handed. Colour tolerance judgments, evaluation curves and all data can be displayed in one of 16 languages.

Up to 10 measurement conditions can be registered and the 10 most recent trace results are stored automatically. The SJ-210 employs a micro-SD card for storage of up to 10,000 results and support of screen capture. The device supports USB and RS-232C connectivity and security is managed via a password lock.     

Resolution is 0.0016 µm at a measurement range of 25 µm and measurement speed is up to 0.75 mm/s. It comes with a selection nine exchangeable detector tips.
