MILWAUKEE, Wis.: Rite-Hite has added smooth-transition technology to its line of high-capacity loading dock levellers with the RHH-5000 and RHJ-5000 JUMBO.

They accommodate the gross loads ranging from 25,000 to 40,000 lb. common in industries such as paper mills, automotive plants, beverage operations, and steel mills while minimizing the risk of back injuries associated with the jolts lift truck drivers experience when crossing platforms and warehouse floors.

A constant radius rear hinge reduces bumps and gaps between the leveller and the warehouse floor, while a two-point crown control on the front lip provides a seamless crossing to the truck bed.

Creating a smooth pathway also contributes to improved productivity, lower leveller repair and replacement costs, and reduced product damage since lift truck drivers can maintain safe and productive speeds.

The RHJ-5000 JUMBO measures 102 in. wide, 18. in. more than conventional levellers.

Rite-Hite’s hydraulic levellers come standard with biodegradable hydraulic fluid.
