MILFORD, Conn.: New PVC filter monitors from Orange Research measure differential pressure to check the health of filter media in filtration equipment for water and corrosive liquids.
The idea is to save money over the life of the system by knowing the best time to clean or replace filters.
A single dial simplifies training, installation and maintenance while reducing operator error.
Monitors are available with 1-in. or 2.5-in. diameter durable plastic dial cases. Optional switches alert users of alarm conditions.
Bodies are rated at up to 150 psi line pressure and are small, measuring
1 x 1.5 x 1.5 in.
Precision-made piston sensors handle differential pressure ranges from 0-10 to 0-30 psid, covering most filter monitoring applications. Accuracy is 5% full scale and each unit is calibrated to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) standards.
The monitors come standard with 1/8-in. female NPT process ports on the bottom of the body. C-clamps are available to mate units to panels.
Orange Research is a Milford, Conn.-based manufacturer of differential pressure gauges, switches and transmitters, flowmeters, and liquid level switches.
