Drives multiple conveyor systems.
Dorner’s Precision Move technology for its 2200 low-profile belt conveyors provides a gang drive option to power
and move multiple conveyors from one common motor.
The gearmotor drives multiple conveyors at the same speed with positive-drive belting, a feature the Hartland, Wis.- based manufacturer of conveyor systems says is useful in automation, sortation, vision inspection, part positioning and indexing applications.
The gang drive is typically located in the middle of the conveyors, freeing up the ends to interface with other equipment. The 2200 mid-drive can be located anywhere along the frame between the two ends for maximum flexibility.
