CALGARY — EmberClear Corp.’s Future Power PA Inc. subsidiary is working on obtaining equity financing for a 330-megawatt natural gas combined cycle electricity power plant in Good Spring, Pa.
The global energy company with offices in Calgary, Houston and Moosic, Pa., said recently issued emission requirements have resulted in a trend to de-commission older and smaller coal-based power plants in the area.
EmberClear plans to use the latest high efficiency turbines and abundant mine water for maximum operating output.
With equity financing in place, the project would be up and running by 2016.
