Writing and talking your way to increased traffic.

Writing articles for printed trade publications is a great way to build traffic to your website. Many magazines and newspapers actively seek contributions – not thinly-disguised advertising – that are of value to their readers; and they’re happy to provide a resource box linking to your website.
Speeches, seminars or workshops are great ways to market your site to a highly-targeted audience.
Send readers to a landing page (not your home page!) that offers further valuable free information in exchange for their contact information. By requesting e-mail addresses as well as permission to add them to your list you convert a “one off” offline marketing activity into an ongoing marketing activity.
