OAKVILLE—Five of Ontario’s leading machining distributors are set to host a sixth annual joint open house to compare equipment from 21 of the world’s best machining builders.
The two day event on May 4 and 5 will feature 40 machines available from distributors Elliott Matsuura Canada Inc., DMG Canada, Ferro Technique, Single Source Technologies and EMEC Machine Tools Inc.
“We felt it was important to have an opportunity for customers to come to our facilities and see 40 machines working instead of just looking at them at a show,” says Frank Boliero, vice-president of sales and marketing at Elliott Matsuura Canada.
The idea of a joint open house was sparked by Elliott Matsuura’s former president six years ago to demonstrate the machines the involved companies represent, adds Bolieiro.
Elliott Matsuura will feature the new MAM72-35V five-axis machining centre, a new one-operation production solution for complex parts at this year’s show.
