TORONTO – Lafarge Canada Inc. has completed its acquisition of eight ready-mix manufacturing plants from James Dick Construction Ltd.
Financial details have not been disclosed.
The newly acquired ready-mix concrete plants will operate as a separate brand within Lafarge Canada Inc., with separate leadership, and will operate under the James Dick Concrete name.
The newly acquired plants are all located in Ontario (Alliston, Bolton, Brampton, Caledon, Hamilton, Oshawa and Scarborough).
A separate agreement has been made between Lafarge Canada Inc. and Canada Cartage Systems for services related to the delivery of ready mix concrete from the newly acquired plants.
