Will invest in new production facilities; develop new product line

TORONTO—Warren Industries Ltd. will create 66 jobs and protect 20 existing positions after receiving $2.5 million from the Ontario government.
The Concord-based auto parts manufacturer will invest $8.36 million to build new production facilities, specialize in vehicle door, hood and trunk hinge manufacturing, and increase efficiency by making improvements to automation, stamping, packaging and transportation operations.
The company has won contracts valued at approximately $100-million to supply Volkswagen AG for the next six years, which is transferring work previously done abroad to Warren facilities.
