EDMONTON: ZCL Composites Inc. has acquired Dualam Plastics Inc., a provider of custom engineered fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and duallaminate corrosion-resistant composite products, for $20.5 million.

The Montreal-based company’s products are used in power generation, chemical, chloralkali, pulp and paper and other industrial sectors.

Dualam Plastics operates eight manufacturing and field service facilities in Canada and the US with two primary operating divisions: CPF Dualam and Troy Manufacturing.
