Colleges launch Canada Job Grant services website

Provides guidance through the grant application process.

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — triOS and Eastern College have launched a new website to help educate Canadian employers on the Canada Job Grant, how they can benefit from it and how they can apply.

The two colleges said they will also provide ancillary services to businesses needing assistance through the application process.

The Canada Job Grant, introduced in July, provides businesses with federal funding of up to $10,000 for training to existing and future employees. The website provides employers with the ability to create customized curriculums based on their skills needs.

Founded in 1992, triOS Corp., through its subsidiaries triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. and Eastern College, has graduated over 50,000 students.

Established in 1983, Eastern College, based in Halfifax, delivers training in a modular approach to fast-track to students’ job readiness. It has campuses in Halifax, Saint John, Fredericton, Moncton, Charlottetown and St John’s.
