Company says merger was necessary to link North American business to global community.
MILTON, Ont. — Roxul has merged its North American industrial, marine and offshore business with Rockwool Technical Insulation (RTI) to create a new global platform for its industrial customers.
The ProRox and SeaRox brands were introduced to North America last year, joining with RTI to provide global brand identity for industrial, marine and offshore customers. The company says the integration of the Roxul team into RTI was the next logical step in linking the North American business to a global community.
“With our existing expertise and combined resources, Roxul Technical Insulation can provide improved support to its North American customers by leveraging our global influence, ultimately bringing greater value to our local response,” said Mike Kozokowsky, vice president of industrial sales.
The North American team will continue to be headquartered out of the company’s Milton, Ont. offices.
Roxul Inc., which also has a production facilities in Grand Forks, BC and in Marshall County, Miss., is a subsidiary of Rockwool Int., the world’s largest producer of stone wool insulation.
