OTTO wins Gold Stevie in International Business Awards
Autonomous material transport robots take home prize for Best New Industrial Product.
KITCHENER, Ont. — Clearpath Robotics’ OTTO Motors division has won a Gold Stevie at the 13th annual International Business Awards in the Best New Industrial Product category.
The OTTO 100 self-driving vehicle, designed for light-load material transport, has a payload capacity of 220 lbs. and a maximum speed of 4.5 mph. It doesn’t rely on external infrastructure for navigation, and instead delivers materials through dynamic paths, obstacles avoidance technology, light indications for behaviour and collaborative work alongside plant personnel.
OTTO, based in Kitchener, Ont., is a division of Clearpath Robotics, a manufacturer of autonomous robotics for industrial applications.
