Polycorp invests $14.5 million to expand Elora, Ont. manufacturing facility
Investment will be used to purchase new equipment, create a new testing laboratory.
ELORA, Ont. — Polycorp. Ltd. has partnered with the Ontario government on a $17 million expansion at the company’s manufacturing facility in Elora, Ont., creating 26 new jobs and retaining 146 positions.
The company, a manufacturer of engineered rubber products that mitigate risks associated with corrossion, abrasion, impact, noise and vibration in transportation, mining and protective lining industries, has customers in 38 countries.
The $17 million expansion, which includes $2.5 million from the provincial government through the Jobs and Prosperity Fund, will be used to purchase new equipment, create a new testing laboratory and expand its manufacturing facility.
The project is expected to be completed in 2022.
