Magellan Aerospace secures multi-year Airbus contracts
Deal worth $700 million involves aluminum and titanium wing components.
TORONTO — Magellan Aerospace’s UK operation and Airbus have extended a contract worth $700 million for the supply of aluminum and titanium structural wing components from Magellan UK’s facilities in Europe, and its joint ventures in India.
The contract involves precision-machined details and assemblies for use on A320 and A330 aircraft, and the A380 program
Magellan UK was also awarded a $20 million contract to supply A380 wing ribs.

Magellan Aerospace, based in Mississauga, Ont., provides complex assemblies and systems to aircraft and engine manufacturers, and defence and space agencies. It operates in facilities throughout Canada, the US, and the UK.
