Largest racing motion simulator centre in Canada launched

D-Box provides 10 state-of-the-art racecar simulators for ICAR circuit.

MONTREAL — Simulated motor sports fans rev you engines: D-Box Technologies and the ICAR complex in Montreal have launched Canada’s largest racing motion simulator centre in Mirabel.

D-Box, a developer and manufacturer of motion systems based in Longueuil, Que., said racing begins this winter, featuring 10 state-of-the-art racecar simulators provided by the International Center of Advanced Racing.

“By adding VRX Simulators and D-Box motion to the ICAR experience, users get a very unique way to train virtually, yet they still have an exceptional feel for what it’s like to drive an exotic car for real”, said Yannick Gemme, vice-president of sales, simulation and training at D-BOX.

Circuit ICAR features a 3.4-kilometre, 16-turn road course, a drag strip, two kart tracks, a drift park and an off-road course. The circuit is designed by professional race drivers and is accredited by FIA and ASN.
