GUELPH, Ont.: Biorem Inc. has landed two orders worth $2.3 million for its odour control systems.

The Guelph, Ont. manufacturer of biological-based air emissions control systems says the first order for an unidentified customer in the Toronto area is for a large-scale, four-cell biofilter designed to treat air emissions from a wastewater treatment plant and biosolids processing building.

The second order is for biotrickling filter treating hydrogen sulphide at a wastewater treatment plant in the southeastern region of the US.

Biorem’s systems are used to eliminate odours, volatile organic compounds and hazardous air pollutants, and for the conditioning of biogas renewable energy.
