Sport Systems Canada is using the funding to support a $1.83 million expansion project.
ALMONTE, Ont. — Sport Systems Canada is receiving $180,500 from Ontario’s Eastern Ontario Development Fund to create 10 jobs and retain 21 positions.
The company, based in Almonte, Ont., manufactures and assembles bleachers and sports equipment for customers across Canada and the international market. Its customers include schools, universities, and municipalities for more than three decades.
The provincial funding will be used to support a $1.38 million facility expansion project and to purchase new production equipment.
The company says the investment will allow it to enhance its productivity, increase its product range and increase its export business.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
