PyroGenesis signs additional military contracts worth US$1.2M
Total order book now exceeds $13 million with non-military customers.
MONTREAL — PyroGenesis Canada Inc. has added two new military contracts worth $1.2 million for its plasma products.
The Montreal-based manufacturer of plasma waste-to-energy systems and plasma torch products said its order book for military contracts now stands at $5 million. Combined with non-military business, the total is more than $13 million.
“This coupled with the company’s success in commercializing its DROSRITE system, the progress of the PUREVAP system, and the decision to enter into powder production for additive manufacturing, we believe 2017 is shaping up to be a very good year,” said Peter Pascali, president and CEO of PyroGenesis.
The company said it will provide more detailed information pending customer approvals.
