CCOHS workplace survey seeks your health and safety insights
Feedback from employers and employees will be part of a report.
HAMILTON — What are the health and safety issues in your workplace, what are the barriers and what should be done about them?
The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) is fielding an online survey (running until Dec. 30) that invites employers and employees to share their experiences.
The Hamilton-based federal department corporation, which focuses on workplace health and safety across Canada, is continuing the conversation that began its Forum 2016: The Changing World of Work, held earlier this year in Vancouver.
It brought together subject experts, workers, employers and governments from across the country and beyond, to explore the challenges arising from shifting demographics, climate change, mental health, workplace culture, emotional intelligence and other issues.
Delegates discussed barriers, issues, ideas and good practices and highlighted their own experiences, identifying concerns and suggesting possible solutions and strategies.
CCOHS will consolidate the results of the survey into a report that shares the feedback from the forum. It will be available in early 2017.
