Funding will be used to increase its computer team and drive sales of its smart factory technologies in the US
MONTREAL — Worximity Technology Inc., a developer of technology that monitors plant production in real time, has secured a $2 million investment to increase the size of its computer development team.
The Montreal company said the investment, from W Investments and the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, will also be used to pursue opportunities in the US market.
Worximity uses its mobile Tileboard application and smart sensors to monitor production equipment and issue alerts that allow users with mobile devices to address downtimes and decreases in production rates immediately.
Worximity says its technologies are currently used on more than 250 North American production lines.
