LONGUEUIL, Que.: Heroux-Devtek Inc. has been awarded contracts worth more than $16.4 million for additional orders of landing gear components for the US Air Force.
The manufacturer of aerospace components based in Longueuil, Que. said most of the orders, mainly for the B-1B, C-130, C-5 and F-15 aircraft, were obtained by newly-acquired Eagle Tool and Machine Co. in Ohio, also a manufacturer of landing gear components.
Production will be spread out over the next four years, with deliveries beginning in the current fiscal year, ending March 31, 2011.
Heroux-Devtek has facilities in the Greater Montreal area; Kitchener, Ont. and Toronto; Arlington, Tex.; and Springfield, and Cleveland, Ohio.
