OTTAWA: Your plant roof is a potential solar revenue stream.

Enfinity Canada is holding three “Rent My Roof” lunchtime seminars in Hamilton (Feb. 24), Peterborough (March 2) and Kingston, Ont. (March 9) that will discuss how building owners and managers can generate solar energy and earn rental revenue.

Enfinity Canada, an Ottawa-based solar power project developer, will host a panel of experts that will deliver an overview of Ontario’s Feed-in Tariff (FIT) program and how you can put your roof real estate to work. The discussion will cover legal matters, roofing, engineering and installation processes.

“In the seminars we openly discuss how much new revenue to expect, rooftop leasing versus installing your own system, rooftop structural considerations, technology selection and the elements of a winning lease,” says Michael Wright of A-Team Strategies Inc., a seminar panelist.
