Engineer Kuniako Saito and his team at Cocoa Motors build the unit that weighs just three kilograms, can carry a person that weighs up to 120 kilograms and reaches speeds up to 10 km/h. It travels 12 kilometres on a full charge.

All the rider needs to do to get going is step aboard, and step off to bring the unit to a stop.
