Company will use investment to produce first made-in-Canada Passivhaus wood window system.

ABBOTSFORD, BC — Dynamic Windows and Doors will use a $900,000 investment from Natural Resources Canada to install an innovative manufacturing process that will allow the company to produce Passivhaus wood windows at its Abbotsford, BC production facility.
The funding, through the Investments in Forest Industry Transformation (IFIT) program, Dynamic Windows and Doors will develop the first made-in-Canada Passivhaus wood window system to produce energy-efficient windows for passive houses.
The house, which are identified as a key ingredient to the evolution of sustainable design, are valued for their rigorous energy-efficiency standards and because they require little energy for space heating and cooling.
The investment will also help the company create up to 60 new jobs.
