AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Bain Capital, a global private investment firm, has completed its acquisition of TI Automotive, an Auburn Hill, Mich.-based manufacturer of automotive fluid storage, carrying and delivery systems for passenger cars and light trucks.
Financial terms of the transaction, which was previously announced in January, were not disclosed.
TI Automotive has has facilities in 29 countries globally, and focuses on fluid carrying systems, tank systems, pump and module systems, HVAC fluid systems and powertrain components.
Bain Capital, founded in 1984, manages more than $75 billion across several asset classes including private equity, venture capital, public equity, credit products and absolute return.
