GLEN ELLYN, Ill: The Bearing Specialists Association (BSA) has released a new addition to its single-topic Bearing Briefs: The Best-Kept Secret in “Green” Technology.

Developed by BSA’s Educational Services Committee, the brief details the many ways bearings contribute to a greener planet. It points out that the bearing industry is constantly developing bearings that operate at higher speeds, generate less friction (and therefore less energy consumption), support heavier loads, last longer, use environmentally friendly lubricants, and cost less throughout their service life.

The latest brief is available for free download from Tools You Can Use on the BSA website.

BSA is the association for authorized bearing distributors based in Glen Ellyn, Ill.
